Toowoomba holds a country charm with a growing metropolitan culture and an amazing street art scene.

Honorably known as the Garden City, Toowoomba has some of the most beautiful parks and gardens in Australia. Why I love Toowoomba is it holds all the conveniences of the capitals but everything you need is only a ten-minute drive away.

Toowoomba has been very good to me, not only in business but personally as well.  It has a real community about it, being able to walk down the street, having the knowledge that there will be a friendly face to say hello.  Being so close to Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, it is so easy to get away for the day or the weekend.

Toowoomba’s community has supported my business for nearly two decades’ now, but I also have a lot of clients that commute from the surrounding rural towns, Brisbane, and the coast’s.  When client’s travel these distances, it makes me extremely grateful to be able to help others feel and look better.

Now all that know me, know I whinge about the cold every winter, and say that I’m moving to Cairns, but the truth is, I’m going nowhere, because this part of the year passes fast and the weather is perfect the rest, as the Queensland’s slogan goes, perfect one day, beautiful the next.

Where to eat and drink in Toowoomba

Looking for a place to have a drink with great live music, check out Fitzy's, it can be relaxing catch up with your mate's or all night fun. Zev's Bistro is an intimate dining restaurant and I would recommend the chef's pick. Now, if you want to take the family somewhere, my family always enjoy's Vapiano's, perfect Italian food. Coffee, my favorite drink, Ortem is divine, however, if you are wanting to have breakfast, I advise you book in.

Business Community in Toowoomba

There are a couple of great groups I would recommend for support and networking in Toowoomba. First is Toowoomba.com which is affiliated with Toowoomba Business Partners. Toowoomba Business Partners is a great group of business owners that meet once a fortnight. The other is Toowoomba Chamber of commerce.
